Who was Pilates and what can Pilates do for you?
Joseph Pilates was a true visionary who created and taught a unique method of mind/body conditioning called Contrology. Contrology is defined as the art and science of body/mind/spirit development through an ordered, flowing and mentally disciplined series of movements. In its authentic form, the Pilates method of conditioning is almost 100 years old and has certainly stood the test of time.
As a whole body conditioning program, pilates improves core strength, flexibility, posture and coordination while improving mental focus and concentration. It has a proven track record of decreasing back, neck and shoulder pain while increasing range of motion in all the joints by simply strengthening the core.
In this way the body becomes re-educated and re-aligned with movement patterns that are more functional, fluid and efficient. Over time, clients soon begin to experience an overall greater sense of vitality and enjoyment of their bodies and in their daily lives.
What is CoreAlign and What makes our Program Unique?
CoreAlign is an innovative equipment and exercise system which is a perfect addition to our existing pilates program, physical therapy or athletic training program. The
CoreAlign system combines cardiovascular work with a full-body workout designed to address alignment issues that effect functional movement. Many exercises are performed standing allowing new movement patterns to be translated into daily living.

The studio specializes in individual and group class instruction in all three branches of the Pilates family tree: Classical, Contemporary and Corrective. In addition, we are unique in that we are the only full service studio which has integrated the CoreAlign movement system into both our corrective pilates and our group equipment classes.
Our 3 Branches™ holistic approach was specifically designed to ensure that our clients find the pilates program best suited to meet their needs and help them achieve their fitness goals.
